In this disease the Hyaluronic acid is mismade and is held tighter around the parathyroid/thyroid - appearing as a goiter-like swelling. Stiffness extends outwards from the parathyroid/thyroid in the face, shoulders, arms and back with cartilage binding too strongly to bones.
